My dear friend took me to a smoothie shop today where I paid and we both walked around and simply talked.  Little moments of true friendship can make the world a much happier place. Just reaching out and letting someone know you care can make all the difference. I love my friends, my family and all those people I have yet to meet but can't wait to.

A Little Bit of Sweet

A dear friend of mine has been going through a super tough time recently. She is an amazing girl who has done so much for me and I felt bad that I couldn't do much for her other then offer encouraging words and pray for her. Today in English, girl scout cookies came and I bought a box of Samoas to share with my friend. We ate cookies as we talked and listened to our teacher. Sometimes a little bit of sweetness can really help.

Friends Everywhere!

Do you know those times when you just feel so down and like no one is there for you? Then out of nowhere you find you have some crazy amazing friends? I had a moment in my life where I had the opportunity to find out who are my true friends and who are not. Around Valentine's Day I had a huge down in my life. While I was gloomy and not always myself some of my friends didn't know what to do and just stayed away. Others however grouped together and supported me. I got gifts from my friends, threats for the person that hurt me, and compliments that left me feeling loved. I spent Valentines Day with a friend who listened and made my day absolutely AMAZING! So when times get tough, don't get down on yourself. You have people there for you even if it doesn't always look like it.  BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!! You are BEAUTIFUL! You are UNIQUE! Most importantly you are a Son or Daughter of a Heavenly King who LOVES YOU!!

A Spark

My dear sister came home from her mission...early. Today she was released. She wanted to get re-located but instead she was released. I believe it is a blessing that she made it so long in a very dangerous country and she got to serve most of her mission. The people that needed touching by her were touched. I know that her and many missionaries out there are doing God's will and living as examples in Christ. Count your blessings this Holiday season and remember those serving.
